Phil Doetzel is a photographer living in the community of Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton South.Carolina. He and his wife spend the summer in Guilford CT. He claims that summer is too hot in South Carolina for McGee, their Newfoundland dog—the truth is, it is too hot for him.

Photography as been an interest for much of his life but only with the coming of the digital age and his retirement did his interest become more of a passion.

Landscapes and travel photography are his primary focus but he has recently become interested in abstract and street photography (you don’t have to get up early for the sunrise).

In addition to photography, Phil enjoys golf and cooking.
